This is NOT a 5 star hotel as they mentioned - unless you are only judging the common areas Knocking off my parking fees, or buying me a cup of coffee might have saved them this review. When I checked out the hotel staff was apologetic, but made no effort to offer anything in compensation for the issue. It should have been a wonderful trip, but we were exhausted and it ruined our stay. Then it happened AGAIN at 6:00 AM!! It was insane. What made the stay awful was the fire alarm malfunctioned in the building at 3:30 AM setting off a false alarm that took about 20 minutes to shut down. Then we realized we could hear almost everything from the hallway. When we got to our room there were some issues with damage to the room - a broken bathroom door. We chose Ocean to be with the group we were traveling with, and because it one of the newer hotels in AC. My family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids - 14 & 10) were in town overnight for an event. Beautiful Hotel with incredible views, BUT we had a terrible experience.
